Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke – I think that this is going to be my next read, as soon as I finished reading and reviewing Jodi Meadow’s The Mirror King in anticipation of its upcoming release! I’ve heard mixed reviews about this, but a few bloggers I trust have compared it to We Were Liars, a book I adored, so I’m hoping that it’ll be a major hit for me. Plus, just look at that gorgeous cover!

I Woke Up Dead at the Mall by Judy Sheehan – The premise of this one is so quirky. Dead teens waking up at The Mall of America, only to find death coaches waiting to help them get to the afterlife. Not your typical YA, that’s for sure.

The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner – For some reason I haven’t picked this one up, but everyone on Bookstagram is talking about it, and Evie Seo just did a gorgeous design for it, so I’m excited that it came in this month’s Owl Crate.

Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell – I’m dying to read this novella! I’m still upset that it’s only available in the UK right now, but luckily (thanks to the internet) I was able to get my hands on two copies (I’ll be doing a giveaway soon for my second copy – stay on the lookout and follow this blog to join in!).

The Blood Between Us by Zac Brewer – This seems like a great coming-together family-relationships YA. I’ll let y’all know once I know more.

The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye – I cannot get enough of Imperial Russia! Look at that intricate detail on the cover! It’s it insanely gorgeous? Can’t wait to read this one.

Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh – This caught my eye, partly because of the dramatic cover art, and partly because the description makes it seem like it’ll be a dark fantasy read, which is always a must-read for me.

With Malice by Eileen Cook – This is one of the books I’m looking most forward to this summer, because a) it takes place in Italy and b) it centers around an accident that occurs while the main character was on a school trip there. I studied abroad in Perugia, Italy when I was in college, and there was a bad accident the semester before mine. So I think this will be beyond interesting to read.

From Swoon Reads (Thank you!) –

All the Feels by Danika Stone – You had me at “fandom.” All the Feels is about a girl whose favorite TV shows kills off her most beloved character. She rallies together the troops trying to campaign to have him brought back to life, and falls for one of her fellow campaigners. Seriously, how cute does this book sound? Can’t wait to see if it lives up to the blurb on the back!

How to Keep Rolling After a Fall by Karole Cozzo – I really like books that deal with heavy topics, and do it well, and this seems like that kind of book. Plus, a well-written love story never hurts!

From Algonquin Books (Thank you!) – 

A Fierce and Subtle Poison by Samantha Mabry – I already have an ARC of this beauty, but my great friends over at Algonquin sent one of the brand new finished copies over to me as well! The hardcover is stunning, and this diverse book seems like a perfect spring read!
