Stacking the Shelves [11]

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and is about sharing the books that you have added to your shelves in the past week. The books can be physical, digital, borrowed, won, sent for review, or anything else.

the crown

The Crown by Kiera Cass – THE END IS HERE. I can’t believe that The Selection Saga is over. I mean, I thought it was over after I read The Onebut then I got to dive back in with Eadlyn in The Heir and read short stories from Happily Ever After and now it’s really and truly over. The Crown was a stunning conclusion to the series, and I think Cass really did Eadlyn’s storyline justice, despite having fit it into only two books instead of the three we got with America and Maxon. My review is coming!

wild swans

Wild Swans by Jessica Spotswood – I already got an ARC of this last month, and I read it and loved it! My review will be up this week, but here’s a sneak peak: Think The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender but with a little less actual magic and a little more modern-day. It’s breathtaking and I had to own a hard copy so I ordered it this week!

Sent for Review

Hard copies –

vassa in the night

Vassa in the Night by Sarah Porter – AHHHHHH!!! This book is so gorgeous! And it takes place in Brooklyn but contains a ton of Russian folklore/mythological elements! And it sounds amazing times a million! I cannot wait to read this one. Since it comes out in September, I’m trying to wait until I get back from BEA later this month, but it is so so tempting to just abandon all of my May TBR and dive into this one right this second. I’m hoping to meet Sarah Porter at BEA too, which would just make my month!

the swan riders

The Swan Riders by Erin Bow – OH MY GOSH. OH MY GOSH. OH. MY. GOSH. THIS BOOK. IS IN MY HANDS. I REPEAT: IT IS IN. MY. HANDS. Thank you so much to the kind folks over at Simon & Schuster for letting me have the sequel to The Scorpion Rules early! I can’t wait to come home from BEA and read and review this baby! This is one of my most anticipated sequels of 2016, because I adored The Scorpion Rules and I think that Erin Bow is an evil genius. Seriously. Read these books. READ THEM. NOW.

TALK TO ME: What did you acquire this week? See anything in my stack that you want/like?
